Meema, Papa & Beepa wanted to make sure they got to see Brady wake up and come downstairs, so they all arrived at our house around 6:30am, and the kids slept in until 7! This was a complete shock. We had so much fun watching Brady dig through his stocking... for a while he forgot that there was an entire tree with presents under it. All the kid needed was some M&M's from Santa to start out the morning, and it was on to the opening extravaganza. He opened his present from Santa which was skis & boots... he was very excited to strap those on and proceed to "ski" through the house. Once we convinced him to take the skis off, we started opening presents. Teagan wasn't too sure what to make of her 1st Christmas but she was definitely a fan of the wrapping paper and bows vs. the presents. It was cute watching Brady "help" her open her presents and then proceed to play with them having to be reminded to share.
We went over to Meema & Papa's house for dinner and several other extended family members joined. I personally was ready to sit back and enjoy a glass of wine without cooking :)
What a wonderful day with our family... I'm sure there will be many more great years as we watch the kids grow up!
