Brady sure got a lot of use out of his Halloween costume this year! We started out the weekend on Saturday with a dress-up birthday party at the Wildlife Experience museum in Parker where the kids got to trick or treat around the exhibits. On Sunday we met up with a group of friends at the Denver Zoo for "Boo at the Zoo" where the kids went trick or treating around the zoo, and also managed to squeeze in a train ride! Finally on Monday (Halloween) we met up with a few of Brady's friends from school at the Moore's and took the kids over to South Gaylord Street for the annual Halloween Safe Street parade. We met up with a bunch of other friends as the kids trick or treated with the street vendors, listened to music and danced in the middle of the street (which was closed!) Teagan was dressed up as a ladybug and pretty much slept through all the festivities but did manage to squeeze in a few giggles at her brother! It didn't take too long before the 3 year olds were worn out, so we ended up at our friends the Powell's for some posole, corn bread and more Halloween fun. It was a great few days of fun... and thank goodness Brady doesn't know how to count his candy yet since most of it is getting donated ;)
