4th of July!!

We kicked off the 4th of July weekend by riding our bikes with the kids in the Chariot down to Coors Field for a Rockies game. They had fireworks throughout the game which was fun! The weather was perfect for a bike ride - and sure enough on the ride back the kids konked out. Meema & Papa had a fun BBQ out in Roxborough on the 2nd. We had our friends the Ransons over for dinner on the 3rd and did some "kiddie" fireworks - which basically consisted of party poppers... did the trick because the kids loved it and the real fireworks were way too late for the little ones. We went through the Cherry Creek art festival on the 4th and it was blazing hot! We went to a friends BBQ during the day and tried to stay indoors. We finished out the weekend meeting the Powell family for dinner on Gaylord Street. The weekend was overall pretty mellow and very enjoyable!
