Granny & Gramps Interment in Aspen

We spent a weekend in Aspen with the Gleason family for Granny & Gramps interment. There was a nice ceremony at the Aspen cemetary where their ashes were buried. Karen & Gary are working on a beautiful bench for their site. We had a nice time reflecting on their life, sharing stories and most importantly being with family (what Granny & Gramps would have wanted!). The whole family got together on Friday night at the house we were staying at for a nice catered dinner. It was great to catch up with everyone! We hiked Aspen mountain with a large part of the group on Saturday - boy was that a beautiful, but tough hike. We opted to take the gondola back down since we were all pretty exhausted. On the way back to Denver, the traffic was so bad that Jim & Karen missed their flight back to Chicago so they stayed with us on Sunday night - selfishly it was great to have them for a night.
