4th of July weekend with the Jones family

The Jones family came out to Denver for the 4th of July weekend. We have made our family get together an annual event and each year is better than the last. It is so special to have such a dear childhood friend and her family come out and to watch our kids make incredible memories together. It is so touching to see the big kids (Brady & Rilynn) play... it's almost like they are siblings. We had a BBQ with some friends at our house on the 4th and they got to meet some of our Denver friends. We got some kiddie fireworks and did our own little show in the front yard. The kids loved it!! The Cherry Creek Arts Festival was going on all weekend so we took the kids 2 different days. They were excited to get frozen lemonades, they were on the Channel 7 news and got to do some fun art projects including painting a truck! The adults had a fun dinner out and the kids were excited that they got to stay up late, watch a movie, eat popcorn and listen to a crazy thunderstorm. We can't wait until our next adventure with the Jones family!
