Our baby girl is ONE! How did this happen so fast? We celebrated Teagan's birthday twice - once over Easter weekend with family and again on her actual birthday (4/14) with just the 4 of us. Brady helped me make cupcakes for her first celebration which was quite fun! She wasn't so sure about the cupcakes and really only ate a few bites... kind of surprising considering Brady ate his entire 1st birthday cupcake! It was funny watching her try to open presents... of course the paper and tissue were much more exciting that the actual presents. Brady shopped with me for Teagan's gift and got her a little tea set which she loves. He did need some help since his first thought was to get her a racetrack and cars. We have had so much fun as a family of 4 over the past year and it's just precious watching Teagan and Brady bond more and more each day. Brady loves that she can "play" a little more with him now... and just the other day, he said she was becoming a big girl and isn't a baby anymore. Sadly, this is true. We may be moving beyond the baby phase which is a bit sad; however, exciting to think about what the next year will hold in toddlerhood.
