Holiday Prep!

Our first holiday season in Colorado was kicked off by cutting down our own Christmas trees. Ben and Papa got tree permits and drove up near Winter Park to cut down 3 beautiful trees... one for us, one for Meema and Papa and one for Brady (yes his own!). It was so funny hearing the comments about how the Christmas Tree lots seem to have very symmetrical trees, but that's not quite the case when you are out in the wilderness looking for a tree. I have to say that the boys did a great job and found us some beautiful trees! Brady was very helpful this year with the decorating and is starting to grasp the concept of Christmas.
We had a lot of fun baking tons of cookies and sweets for all our friends... Brady was such a good helper with the sprinkles and especially licking the beaters and spatulas!
