Halloween in Denver

Well, everyone here in Denver warned us that it will likely snow on Halloween. We found the warmest costume possible for Brady in anticipation of a very cold night. It turned out to be a gorgeous fall day.. probably 70 degrees. We had a great time going over to Wash Park where the Gaylord Street vendors cater to the little kids with a fun Halloween block party. It took Brady a bit to understand the concept of trick or treating but finally he understood that his "pumpkin" had treats in it. Our friends Sam & Chris had everyone over to their house after where the kids had fun handing out candy to the older kids and playing in the fall leaves. On our drive home we realized that Brady had gotten into a tootsie roll which took a while to get out of his teeth. I'm sure next year we are in for it with the candy!
