18 months

Brady is 18 months old. We had his checkup and were shocked to find out that he is still a bit of a peanut only weighing 22 lbs 14 oz and 31 1/2 inches - 10th percentile! Surely there's a growth spurt in the works, what with Daddy being 6'4".

Our boy is quite the little personality. He has been nicknamed the little politician by my mom's group because he loves saying hi to everyone! He has tons of new words... but some of the favorites are: airplane (especially because we've been on quite a few lately!), fishies, birdies, munnels (muscles - and he shows his arm muscles), patta (pasta) etc. He's also counting to about 13. He loves counting to 3 both forwards and backwards and has to count every time he throws a ball. The best is when he kept trying to throw his ball over the railing in Hawaii but was too short (see above) so it never made it over. We told him "almost!". So now every time he throws a ball he says "Ooooone, twoooooo, three! ALMOST!"
Speaking of which - he is obsessed with all sorts of balls... basketball, baseball, football etc. I think we may have a sports lover on our hands. Dad is clearly biased, but he's certain there are no other 18-month olds toddling this earth with better aim.
